Welcome to the Hear Again Blog

Welcome to the blog of the Hear Again Radio Project. It is our hope to keep you in the know of all the history, the updates and the latest and greatest news as we explore and revitalize the wide and wonderful lost art of radio drama.

We are beginning to plan for our fringe offerings at our Philadelphia home for special events, Plays and Players. Details will be forthcoming in the coming weeks. Below you'll see a glimpse from the past.

Produced by Aspire Arts, Artistic Director Jenn MacMillan, and performed at the Caplan Studio Theater on the campus of University of the Arts. Pictured above from left: Ryan Walter, J Michael Stafford, Jill Lawrence, Lauren Basler, AJ Luca, Jenn MacMillan, David Stanger. Original music was composed and performed by AJ Luca.The set was designed by Mike Leon. Live sound effects were performed by J Michael Stafford. Sound engineer was John Kolbinski. The production was directed by Hear Again founder and producer Darin J Dunston.

We performed 6 vintage transcribed scripts from the golden age of radio performed in repertory with classic commercials, and live original sound effects. The scripts performed were from Broadway Is My BeatLet George Do It, Arch Obler's Light's Out and ... Suspense!
